Talk by Nigel Henderson
The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) and History Hub Ulster welcome you to a talk by Nigel Henderson.
Last year, Nigel gave a presentation about war memorial windows designed and made by the Clokey Studio of Belfast. In the early part of the 20th Century, there were several studios in Belfast designing and making stained glass windows and the best known were the Clokey Studio in King Street and the Ward & Partners studio in Queen Street.
This talk will examine a selection of windows by the two firms. Some of the examples will relate to churches in which there are windows by both firms.
