Centra Run Together turns 10!

We’re absolutely thrilled to bring Centra Run Together back this October – and this year, we’re marking a special milestone as the event celebrates 10 years of running, community spirit and fundraising.

To mark the anniversary, Centra Run Together 2026 is set to be bigger and better than ever, with 2,000 places available – an extra 400 across both the 5K and 10K routes.

Lace up your running shoes and join us on Sunday 18th October at Ormeau Park, Belfast for an unforgettable day of fitness, fun and feel‑good impact. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking part for the first time, there’s something for everyone.

Running for a reason

Centra Run Together has gone from strength to strength since the very first event in 2016, and thanks to the incredible support of our runners, communities and partners, we’ve raised an amazing £195,000 for our charity partner, Action Cancer.

This October, we’re aiming to smash the £200,000 milestone – now that’s something to run for.

Every step you take helps keep Action Cancer’s mobile detection unit, the Big Bus, on the road, delivering life‑saving services across Northern Ireland. To date, funds raised through Centra Run Together have paid for almost 4,000 health checks, helping to make a real difference in local communities. Action Cancer also provides breast screening for women outside NHS screening age (40–49 and 70+), as well as skin cancer detection assessments.

More than just a race

Your entry fee – with every penny going directly to Action Cancer – gives you a whole lot more than a medal at the finish line. Every participant will receive a free T‑shirt, a bespoke anniversary medal, a goodie bag, free lunch, Frank and Honest Coffee, plus food samples including Moo’d Ice Cream, plus plenty of family-friendly entertainment.

2 Click the orange ‘Start Fundraising’ button.

3 Enter your details and SIGN UP, or LOG IN if you already have an account.

4 Select ‘Taking part in an event’ and choose Centra Run Together 2026.

5 Name your fundraising page and click ‘create your page’.

Prefer other ways to donate? You can send your contributions by:

• Cheque: Payable to ‘Action Cancer’, sent to Mark Jones, Action Cancer, 20 Windsor Ave, Belfast BT9 6EE.

• Cash: Drop it off at Action Cancer, 20 Windsor Ave, Belfast BT9 6EE, Monday – Friday, 9am-4:45pm, or bring it to the event.

• Card: Call 028 9080 3344 (option 2) to make a payment over the phone.

Race number collection is available at Action Cancer, 20 Windsor Ave, Belfast BT9 6EE, on the following dates:

Thursday 15th October – 8am - 8pm

Friday 16th October - 12 noon - 7pm

Saturday 17th October - 9am – 12 noon

When you collect your race number, you’ll also receive your timing chip and T-shirt.
