Lonely Mountain, an independent folk duo from North Wales, will perform at The Belfast Barge in Belfast on 10 February 2027 at 19:00. Their music is inspired by mountains, sea and Irish traditional folk. Tickets start from £15.00.
We're Lonely Mountain, an independent folk duo of brothers who hail from North Wales, doing things our own way — just the two of us and our family behind it all.
Our music is steeped in inspiration from the mountains and sea. Born out of our own family's sailing adventures — recent songs like "Whale Song" and "Sŵn y Môr" (Welsh for "sound of the sea") from our most recent EP, No Passage Landward, reflect this.
A lot of what we do is rooted in Irish traditional folk, and we've been closely following the new wave of modern Irish folk acts — bands like Amble, Kingfisher and The Mary Wallopers have been a big inspiration to us. So playing Belfast means a lot.
And honestly — playing a show on a barge is just really cool. We can't wait.
