About This Event

A mindful making event, including letter writing and envelope making, will take place at the Golden Thread Gallery in Belfast on 26th August 2026, and is free to attend.

Give your head a brain shower with a simple creative activity in our Hub.

Give your head a brain shower with a simple creative activity in our Hub. Make your own envelope and write a letter to a friend or your future self inspired by The Ignorant Art School: Outside the Circle x Belfast exhibition on Wednesday 26 August from 12-2pm.

Engaging in art activities has been proven to benefit mental health and help with anxiety and depression, improve focus, and promote relaxation.

All materials are provided for our Mindful Making sessions, as well as tea, coffee & biscuits. No booking required, just drop in!

Accessibility

Workshops take place in our Hub on the ground floor of the gallery, with step-free ramp access. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
