Healthy Oceans Healthy Minds

Rams Island Beach Clean is a conservation volunteering experience combining a boat trip, environmental action and time spent on one of Lough Neagh's most unique islands. This event is facilitated by Rams Island.

Travel by boat to Rams Island and help remove litter and waste from the shoreline while contributing to the protection of local wildlife and water quality. Following the clean-up, enjoy a light lunch and take time to appreciate the island's natural beauty.

Please note:

Age: 7+ years. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Boat transport and light lunch included, giving you a chance to enjoy the island after your work!

This activity takes place on uneven terrain and is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear are recommended.

Meet at 17a Shore Road, Lough Neagh, Glenavy BT28 2LQ at 10 AM sharp.
