What happens when we imagine a greener Belfast?

RE[green] The Grey invites you to explore the city's past, present and future through the lens of nature. Join Belfast City Council's Nature Towns and Cities initiative and Ulster Wildlife for an engaging event exploring how nature can be brought back into our streets, neighbourhoods and shared spaces.

Through images, maps, stories and conversation, discover how Belfast's landscape has changed over time, where opportunities for urban greening exist today, and why biodiversity should be at the heart of creating healthier, more resilient places. From grey infrastructure to parks, streets and waterfronts, we'll explore what a nature-rich city could look like for people and wildlife alike.

Whether you're interested in history, nature, climate, community or the future of Belfast, come along, share your perspectives, and be inspired by the possibilities of a greener city.
