REaL Event - Older Persons and Scam Awareness

As part of 'Positive Aging Month' , this event aims to raise awareness within community groups, partner agencies and older people themselves on rogue trading and scams, including doorstep crime, romance scams, online scams and telephone scams.

The event will support older people to recognise potential risks, know where to seek advice and assistance, and understand the importance of reporting concerns promptly.

By strengthening confidence, improving access to practical support and encouraging communities to look out for one another, the event will help prevent harm and contribute to safer communities.
