Ronan Boyle

After 8 years doing stand-up comedy, millions of online views, sold-out plays and performances on some of the biggest stages in Ireland and the UK, Ro Boyle is bringing his brand new hour-long stand-up special "SHOWED UP" on tour to Derry, Belfast, Omagh, Stranorlar, Monaghan and his hometown Strabane — this one is going to be massive.

From the viral success of The Strabanter and the hugely popular Ro Boyle Comedy page, Ro has built a loyal following that stretches far beyond the North West.

He is the creator of the iconic Big Billy – Ireland’s Only Catholic Orangeman – and the writer and star of the smash-hit comedy play Orange Is the New Green, which completed a hugely successful 2021–25 All-Ireland tour to rave reviews..

Ro is the winner of NW Comedian of the Year 2022 and Best Headliner 2023 (Comedy Live NW). He has been heard on BBC Sounds and seen on BBC Shorts, and is co-host of the hugely popular Big Massive Podcast, with thousands of weekly listeners and fans.
