Join us to hear the true horror stories of Friar's Bush! A memorably macabre visit!

Join us to hear the true horror stories of Friar's Bush, a place that even acquired its name from a grisly killing of about 1710. There are tragic tales of murders, drownings, hangings and of a poor widow having her husband’s bones thrown at her. Stories of visits of the dead-cart and of mass burials.

Learn the notorious story of the un-burying of William Quaile and of the tragic couple who died on their wedding night and were buried twice.

This graveyard was the busiest in Ireland for the lucrative body snatching trade, so expect to learn much about the resurrectionists and their dastardly night work. This will be a memorably macabre visit with a professional guide who knows their stuff.
