Presented by Ulster Touring Opera Dates: Weekly sessions, Saturdays 1pm–3pm Ages: 14-18 Location: Rosemary Street church Hall, Belfast, BT1 1QB Cost: FREE for the term (includes all sessions, t-shirt, and festival travel) YOU WILL STILL NEED TO BOOK YOUR CHILD A PLACE Step into the world of talking animals, wise lessons, and the words of Northern Ireland's most celebrated poet with Seamus Heaney’s Fables! Young singers aged 14–18 are invited to take part in a series of fun, friendly weekly workshops, building up to a brand-new opera performance inspired by the work of Nobel Peace Prize winning Seamus Heaney. Participants will develop their singing, storytelling, and stage skills – all leading to a live performance on 6th March 2027 at the Belfast Children’s Festival. 🗓 Session Dates (1pm–3pm): Oct: 10, 17, 24 Nov: 7, 14, 21, 28 Dec: 5, 12 Jan: 9, 16, 23, 30 Feb: 6, 13, 20 March: Members must also be available for the day of performance in Belfast on Saturday 6th March 2027.
