Discover unique handmade crafts and local art vibes at Birmingham’s Alternative Artisans Market this November!

Alternative Artisans Birmingham - Sunday 17th May 2026

Forget everything you know about craft fairs.

Alternative Artisans is a curated market for independent makers in the alternative, gothic, and fetish community. Every trader in the room has made what they're selling - no resellers, no mass-produced imports, no high street lookalikes.

What you will find: chain and metalwork jewellery, taxidermy and curiosities, erotic art and illustration, latex and leather clothing, adult toys, gothic homeware, alternative fashion, and things you won't find a category for until you're standing in front of them.

This is handmade craft for people who've always felt a little out of place at the usual markets. If that's you, you'll feel right at home.

This is an 18+ event. Adult products will be on sale.
