🥁 16:30–18:30 | Drum Solo – It’s Time to Play

Get ready for two hours of energy! 🔥

Learn a fun and powerful choreography to “It’s Time to Play” by Artem Uzunov, while working on isolations, sharp accents, musicality and technique.

Marija will break everything down step by step, making this workshop perfect for beginners while still giving you plenty of those impressive, mind-blowing bellydance moves that make drum solos so much fun!

🔥 18:30–20:30 | Bellydance Fusion – Beautiful Liar

It’s time to channel your inner Shakira! 💃🏽

Learn a beginner-friendly bellydance fusion choreography to the iconic “Beautiful Liar” by Beyoncé & Shakira.

Expect hips, isolations, attitude and plenty of Shakira-inspired movement while discovering how bellydance technique can be incorporated into a fun fusion choreography.

Meet Marija ✨

Marija is an award-winning bellydance performer and teacher based in Nottingham, with a passion for bringing people together through dance.

She began her bellydance journey in 2008 and has been teaching since 2014, training over the years with internationally renowned artists including Igor Kischka, Jasirah, Alex Delora, Diva Darina and Diana Gnatchenko.

Alongside teaching regular classes in Nottingham, Marija is also the organiser of the international bellydance festival Hips Don’t Lie, bringing dancers and artists together from around the world. 🌍✨
