About This Event

The Shorter Choral Evensong at Birmingham Cathedral will take place on 19th May 2027 at 17:45. The Cathedral Choir will sing traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer. The event is part of the choir's regular term schedule.

– Choral Evensong is sung by the Cathedral Choir and uses traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer. During the choir term, Evensong is usually sung four times a week. We use a shorter form on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; the full service on Fridays; and a full service with hymns and a sermon on Sundays.
