About This Event

A Shorter Choral Evensong service is scheduled for 18 January 2028 at 17:45 at Birmingham Cathedral. The Cathedral Choir will lead the singing. The liturgy follows the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer.

– Choral Evensong is sung by the Cathedral Choir and uses traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer. During the choir term, Evensong is usually sung four times a week. We use a shorter form on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; the full service on Fridays; and a full service with hymns and a sermon on Sundays.
