**🍣 Japanese for Beginners: Your First Hour: A Live Beginner Class** Always wanted to try Japanese? This live class on Zoom is your first hour: greetings, introducing yourself, numbers to ten and ordering at a café, with a teacher and a small group. **In the hour, you'll learn to:** - Introduce yourself the polite Japanese way - Count from 1 to 10 and understand simple prices - Order a drink, ask how much it is and pay - Tell hiragana and katakana apart and read a few simple words - Greet people politely at different times of day and say goodbye Every phrase comes with romaji, so you don't need to read Japanese yet. You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then **practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3**. Afterwards your **phrase sheet** with a pronunciation guide stays in your account. Small group, friendly and practical. Camera optional, nothing recorded. **RSVP here, then register through the link below** to book your place. ### [🗣️ BOOK YOUR PLACE 🗣️](https://phraseclub.vercel.app/product/PhraseJapanese?city=Birmingham&groupurlname=language-learners-happy-hour-hub&productId=600601&startgmtdatetime=2026-11-02T20:00:00Z) --- ✅ **What you get:** - At most 12 people, so everyone gets to speak - Your phrase sheet to keep, with a pronunciation guide - Camera optional - A live one-hour class on Zoom with a teacher For complete beginners: no Japanese needed, everything is explained in English.
