We are getting together for a session dedicated to breathing new life into older technology. Whether you have an old beige tower tucked away in a closet, a vintage console that has seen better days, or just an interest in exploring legacy code and operating systems, this is a space to tinker and share knowledge. Our goal is to bring these machines back to their former glory, troubleshoot hardware issues, and experiment with software that hasn't seen the light of day in decades. This event is for anyone in Birmingham who enjoys the tactile nature of older hardware or the challenge of making modern interfaces work with classic systems. You do not need to be an expert to join us; all that is required is curiosity and a bit of patience for working with aging electronics. Feel free to bring along a project you are currently stuck on, or simply come by to see what everyone else is working on and share some stories. If you are planning to join us, please take a moment to RSVP so we can get an idea of how many people to expect. We look forward to seeing what everyone brings to the table.
