Join us for a lovely festive afternoon filled with friendship, laughter, Christmas treats and, of course, plenty of sewing chat!

At The Fabric Vault, we believe sewing is about so much more than fabric and thread. It's about the friendships we make, the things we learn and the wonderful community we build along the way. So, this Christmas, we're bringing everyone together for a relaxed afternoon to celebrate all of that!

Whether you've been sewing with us for years, have only recently discovered the joy of sewing, or simply love being around like-minded creative people, we'd love you to join us.

✨ What's Happening?

🧵 Favourite Make or Learn of 2026 – Show & Tell

Bring along something that represents your sewing year. It doesn't need to be finished, perfect or impressive – even a small practice piece or a new technique you've learned is worth celebrating!

🎲 Games, Prizes & Christmas Surprises

We'll have some light-hearted sewing-themed games, little prizes and plenty of opportunities for laughter.

🎁 Handmade Christmas Gift Swap (Optional)

Bring a small wrapped handmade gift to pop under our Christmas tree and receive a surprise handmade present in return.

♻️ Sewing Room Rehoming Table (Optional)

Have an unfinished project, sewing book, pattern or fabric you no longer need? Bring it along and perhaps somebody else will give it a new home. No need to buy anything especially!

☕ Christmas Afternoon Tea

At 5pm, we'll sit down together to enjoy a delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea with drinks, all included in your ticket.

🎟️ £30 per person, including Christmas Afternoon Tea and drinks

No sewing machine or sewing equipment needed! This is a Sewcial, not a lesson – just an opportunity to relax, meet new friends, catch up with familiar faces and enjoy a little time for yourself.

You don't need to come with somebody else, either. You'll be surrounded by people who share your love of sewing, and there's always room for another friend in our sewing community.
