Join The Light for a fun, hands-on Caribbean cooking experience where you'll learn practical cooking skills, discover new flavours and take home ideas you can use again and again.

Whether you're a complete beginner or already enjoy cooking, these sessions are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

During the session you'll learn how to prepare a selection of Jamaican-inspired dishes and techniques, including:

Along the way you'll pick up practical tips to help you create affordable, flavour-packed meals at home.

Our focus isn't fine dining or complicated recipes. These sessions are all about creating flavour-packed, budget-friendly food using practical ingredients and techniques that can be recreated at home.

With the rising cost of living, we want to help people make their food budget go further without compromising on taste. Small additions such as homemade green seasoning and escovitch pickle can transform everyday meals, helping you create delicious dishes from ingredients you may already have at home.

Due to limited spaces, registering on Eventbrite does not automatically guarantee a place.

Following registration, places will be reviewed and confirmed by email on Friday 7th August.

Once your place has been confirmed, we'll also send reminder communications before the event to help ensure places aren't missed and as many people as possible can benefit from this free opportunity.
