Are you over 16 and interested in finding your voice, building confidence and meeting new people?

I AM WHAT I AM is a fun and supportive creative performance project from Legacy WM in partnership with BADA (Bangladeshi Artist Development Agency) using drama, storytelling and creative workshops to explore real-life experiences and issues.

You do not need any acting experience. Whether you love being on stage or have never performed before, this project is a chance to express yourself, develop new skills and create your own short monologue.

Through a series of fun and supportive workshops, you will:

✍️ Create your own short monologue

🤝 Build teamwork and meet new people

💬 Explore real-life issues and experiences

This project is for people aged 16+ who want to:

Develop their English and communication skills

ESOL learners are especially welcome. You don't need perfect English — just bring your voice, your ideas and yourself.

Your creative journey will lead towards a live showcase planned as part of Bangla Month in November 2026, where participants will have the opportunity to share their work with an audience.
