About This Event

The LGBTQ+ Carer Information & Wellbeing Session will take place on 13 October 2026 at Birmingham LGBT. This event is designed for individuals providing additional support to someone in the LGBTQ+ community in Birmingham. The session aims to offer information and resources to enhance the wellbeing of carers. Admission to the event is free.

LGBTQ+ Carer Information & Wellbeing Session

Come along to this session if you provide extra support to someone who lives in Birmingham. You may do their shopping, collect medication and attend health appointments or you may provide more hands on care.

Join fellow Carer Neil and meet other LGBTQ+ Carers in a safe and welcoming space. We’re pleased to announce that we have secured some funding to book a regular meeting room at the Birmingham LGBT Centre!

At this session on 13 October, Richard Mole, Engagement Coordinator from Gateway Family Services will tell you about local health and wellbeing support, financial assistance and Social Prescribing. You can choose to have a FREE Health Check including monitoring your blood pressure.

Tea and coffee will be provided, feel free to bring your own snacks or lunch.
