About This Event

Lockedt × Inertia is about bringing two different worlds together properly. Lockedt has always been about selection, discovery and giving DJs space to actually take you somewhere with their set. It’s not just about playing the biggest tune in the room every five minutes — every set should have its own identity, its own energy and its own journey. Expect UK Garage, UK Funky, Bruk, R&B, Rap, Afrobeats, Dancehall and everything that sits in between. Inertia comes from a more dance-heavy space, pushing underground electronic sounds alongside Afrocentric club music — Afro House, Amapiano, Gqom, Afrobeats and more forward-thinking club sounds. This night is where both sides meet. The whole point is that every DJ shouldn’t sound the same. One set might take you through Garage and UK Funky, the next might be Amapiano and Afro House, then you could end up in Rap, Bruk, Afrobeats or something completely different. It’s meant to move. It’s meant to feel intentional. And most importantly, it’s about hearing music you already love alongside music you didn’t know you needed to hear. Come for the tunes you know.
