About This Event

The National Asphalt Research Consortium is organising a session on the performance of emerging materials for next-generation pavements. The event takes place at the Conference Aston Hotel and Conference Centre. Admission is free.

About the Event

The NARC Annual Research Conference brings together researchers, industry partners, infrastructure owners and policymakers to discuss the latest developments in pavement engineering. This year's theme, "Next-Generation Pavements: Performance of Emerging Materials", will explore innovative materials and technologies that support the transition towards safer, more resilient and lower-carbon transport infrastructure, with presentations covering sustainable surfacing, road decarbonisation, asphalt recycling and emerging pavement materials.

2:40 – 3:10 pm: Performance of Biochar based Grouted Pavement Materials, MilesMacadam & Aston University

3:10 – 3:30 pm: Panel Discussion, Q&A and Closing Remarks, All Speakers

3:30 – 4:00 pm: Laboratory tour

By tram: The nearest Bull Street, Corporation Street, Grand Central New Street stations are 6-10 minutes away from campus.
