An evening for the open micers

Our Open Mic Only event’s home is at The Drop Inn Digbeth for the foreseeable

It's all about the Open Mic - A chance to share, express and hear new voices in our wonderful scene.

We will be pulling out all of the stops with at least 12 performance slots available over 2 halves of poetry, accompanied by live improvised music.

Poet’s Palace is a platform for emerging spoken word artists. Through live events, open mics, and workshops, we create inclusive spaces that amplify new voices, support creative growth, and build community through truth-telling and care, centering artists from the Global Majority, LGBTQIA2+ communities, and those historically excluded from the arts.
