Join Show Up Sis as we take on the beautiful Malvern Hills! ⛰️🥾

On Sunday 6th December, we’ll be travelling from Birmingham to the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire for our final women-only hiking adventure of the year.

Expect rolling hills, steep climbs, scenic ridgelines and beautiful views across the surrounding countryside.

Whether you’re coming alone or with someone you know, our team will be there to welcome you and help you connect with other women throughout the day. Most women attend our events alone, so please don’t let that stop you from joining us 💗

🚌 COACH TRAVEL

Return coach travel from Birmingham is included in your ticket.

⏰ Please arrive by 7:30am

🚌 The coach will depart promptly at 7:50am

The coach cannot wait for late arrivals, so please allow plenty of time for traffic, parking and finding the meeting point.

📍 DESTINATION

Malvern Hills

Worcestershire

The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

⛰️ THE HIKE

We’ll be hiking through the Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known for its scenic ridgelines, steep climbs and panoramic countryside views.

This will be a moderately challenging hike involving sustained uphill and downhill sections, uneven paths and potentially wet, muddy or slippery terrain.

Please be aware:

• There will be steep uphill and downhill sections

• The terrain may be rocky, uneven, muddy and slippery

• Parts of the route may be exposed to strong winds and changing weather

• December conditions may be cold

• The route may be changed or shortened if conditions become unsafe

• The final route, distance and estimated hiking time will be confirmed before the event

🥾 APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED

You must wear:

✔️ Waterproof hiking boots with good ankle support and strong grip

Fashion trainers, Converse, sliders, sandals or footwear without suitable grip are not appropriate for this hike.

🎒 WHAT TO BRING

You will need:

✔️ A backpack

✔️ A minimum of two litres of water

✔️ Lunch and plenty of snacks

✔️ A waterproof jacket

✔️ Warm layers

✔️ Waterproof hiking boots

✔️ A warm hat and gloves

✔️ Spare socks

✔️ Any medication you may need

✔️ Blister plasters

✔️ A power bank

Waterproof trousers are also strongly recommended.

Please come prepared for cold weather, rain and strong winds, regardless of the forecast. Conditions can change quickly in the hills during December.

🚌 RETURN JOURNEY

The coach will depart from the Malvern Hills at 4pm.

Our estimated arrival back at Digbeth Coach Station is approximately 5:30pm, depending on traffic.

Return times are approximate, so please avoid arranging onward travel too close to our expected arrival time.

Photos and videos will be captured throughout the day for Show Up Sis social media.

If you would prefer not to appear in any content, please let a member of the team know when you arrive.

Please don’t worry! Most women attending will be coming alone.

Show Up Sis is all about helping women try new experiences, build confidence and make genuine connections. Our team will be there to welcome you, introduce you to others and support you throughout the day.

By booking a ticket and attending this event, you agree to the following:

🌿 Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand that participating in a hike or outdoor activity involves inherent risks, including uneven terrain, changing weather conditions and physical exertion. I voluntarily accept these risks.

💪 Health & Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically able to take part and will take responsibility for my own health, pace and wellbeing during the event.

🧍‍♀️ Personal Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for:

• My own safety and belongings

• Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear

• Following any guidance provided by the Show Up Sis team

⚠️ Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Show Up Sis, its organisers and event partners from liability for any injury, loss or damage suffered during the event.

📸 Photography & Content

Photos and videos may be taken during the event for marketing purposes. If I do not wish to appear, I will inform the organiser on the day.
