About This Event

A suicide prevention session will be held at Edgbaston Community Centre in Birmingham on September 14, 2026. The session will provide awareness of suicide and facts to prevent it, with CPD certificates issued.

This session will build awareness of suicide and provide the facts everyone should understand to prevent suicide.

CPD certificates will be issued to all those who attend.

The key objectives of this workshop are:

To understand the prevalence and impact of suicide

To recognise the ‘signs’ that may indicate someone is having thoughts of suicide

To consider how we can all contribute to a suicide safer community.

PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide (often called “Papyrus UK”) is a national UK charity focused on preventing suicide in young people.
