Join us every other Thursday from 6:45pm-8:30pm at Selly Oak for our community paddling sessions on the water.

Whether you’re brand new to kayaking or just getting back into it, these fun and relaxed sessions are designed for all abilities.

All equipment is provided and our team will be on hand to support you throughout, so just bring yourself, a sense of adventure, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet.

Suitable for ages 6+ through to adults.

Please arrive on time so that we can get everyone signed in, fitted with equipment and briefed to start.

🎒 What to bring

Clothes you’re happy to get a little wet

A change of clothes for afterwards

Old trainers or water shoes (no flip flops)

A bottle of water

🛶 What’s provided

Kayaks/bellboat, paddles, and buoyancy aids

Basic instruction and on-water support

All participants must wear a buoyancy aid (provided).

🚻 Facilities

Please arrive in suitable clothing. Waterproofs are not essential, though you may wish to bring a change of clothes.

As we are based directly on the canal, there are no toilet or changing facilities on site. However, nearby parks and a Sainsbury’s are within walking distance if required.
