A welcoming weekly life drawing session with a nude model, timed poses, and space to develop your drawing practice.

Traditional Life Drawing

Traditional Life Drawing takes place every Monday, 6–8pm at 1000 Trades in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Each session features a nude model and follows a series of timed poses, beginning with quick warm-up sketches before moving into longer poses, giving you the opportunity to explore gesture, proportion, anatomy, light, and form.

The class is open to all abilities, whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time, returning to drawing, or maintaining a regular creative practice. It’s a relaxed, friendly environment where you’re welcome to work at your own pace. Some materials are provided, although you’re encouraged to bring your own favourites if you have them.

Tickets £10 paid in session • Booking Recommended • Ages 18+ • No admission after 6pm
