Join our club!

Flex your creative muscles and make your own zine with a group of other enthusiastic makers. Never made one before? Don't know where to start? No worries! We'll explore different methods of putting zines together, have plenty of basic craft resources on hand for you to use, and lots of inspiration. All you need to bring is your curiosity.

To welcome in the autumn season, we'll be creating zines based on the theme: comfort. Think crunchy leaves, fluffy blankets, tasty hot drinks, friends, family, pets, your favourite tv shows/movies/books, etc. Whatever brings you comfort!

What does it mean to you? How can you express your thoughts and feelings about it on paper? Zines can be many things, so if you'd like to write poetry or an essay, make some drawings or a collage, the autumn sky is the limit.

Not only is our club completely FREE, you will also have a free photocopy allowance of 5 black and white copies or 1 colour copy to make a small print run to share your zine with others.

We will be located just outside the Gallery on Level 3 of the Library of Birmingham.
