Still Spinning Welcomes Rikki Humphrey A true music lover and committed record collector, Rikki creates sets that reflect his deep devotion to the craft of DJing. An early obsession with Jungle, combined with a lasting love for UK Garage and US House, laid the foundations for a sound rooted in jazz, ambient, afro, boogie, & disco, while blurring the lines between breaks, future jazz, electro & US techno.  Rikki has held residencies with parties such as Nest & Studio 89, he has guested on stations like Red Light Radio, Noods, & LYL. Through word of mouth and consistently diverse warm-up sets, he has firmly established himself as a DJ unrestricted by genre boundaries. Over the years, he has shared turntables with artists including Volcov, Jane Fitz, Bell Towers, Fred P, Andy Hart, Jan Schulte, Mark Grusane, MCDE, The Pilotwings, Evan Baggs, Hunee, DJ Bone, Floating Points, Maurice Fulton, Antal, Jeremy Underground, & Orpheu The Wizard, to name just a few.  Recent years have brought memorable gigs across Europe, from musical institutions like Warehouse Project, Paloma, Club der Visionäre, MS Hoppetosse, Brilliant Corners & Spiritland, to travels further afield in Vietnam (Savage) & South America (Billares Londres & Baum). His gigs & mixes have earned plaudits from Resident Advisor, Stamp The Wax & Ransom Note.  Rikki currently holds a decade strong residency with DIY party TEAK in Cardiff & previously hosted monthly shows on NTS (Manchester) and Rinse France. Support Is being held down by Still Spinning residents, Josef Lawler & 4D. Shop Respect & Rules We please ask you treat the shop, the stock & artefacts with love & respect.  Most importantly be aware of our patient & generous neighbours, on entering, enjoying the surroundings & when it comes to home time. If there is an accident or incident please let Andy or one of the staff know, there will be no judgement or condemnation, we just want a smooth event.  Any disrespectful, rowdy or uncool behaviour you will be asked to leave. There is one toilet for the ladies & one urinal for the gents. We have a TENs licence so the Police, the council & the surrounding neighbours are aware of the party. As of 11pm the doors to the balcony will be closed, to limit noise. The balcony will still be accessible, just make sure to close the door behind you & limit noise outside. Drink Policy Unfortunately the shop doesn't have a bar, so you are more than welcome to bring your own liquid refreshments. Cups, ice & drinking water will be provided.  All we ask, is that you be aware of your waste, cigarette butts, sticky used cups, spillages, ring stains & empties. Bottle opens will be on hand. Last Entry Will be a firm 8pm, we want to get lost in the shop vibe too :)  If anyone attempts to let anyone else in who hasn't bought a ticket, you will both be asked to leave. ***No Smoking Or Vaping Indoors*** ***No Food*** Please do not bring a picnic with you or chewing gum. ***No Glitter Or Streamers***
