A performance of Broken Chords, a piece of gig theatre which blends music and storytelling to trace their long, strange road through grief.

When their son died unexpectedly, husband and wife team Stuart Wickes and Kirstie Pelling picked up guitars and began writing songs as a way to keep breathing and keep talking. The result is Broken Chords, a piece of gig theatre which blends music and storytelling to trace their long, strange road through grief with humour and hope.

“This is a piece which will stay with you long after the final note – go and see it if you have the chance.” Audience member

Stuart and Kirstie look forward to making connections with people who are on a similar journey of discovery and reflection, while opening up stimulating, honest conversations about grief.

Content note: This performance includes references to suicide.
