View all →About This Event
Scheduled for 11 October 2026 at Bootleg Social in Blackpool, Devolicious gathers various performers to explore the songs that anchor personal history and collective memory. The programme invites audiences to witness a dramatic meditation on love and life through music, structured around shared stories and movement. As a stall-sales listing with no registered ticket price, this entry represents a trade opportunity rather than a public theatre event. The production promises a raw examination of how melody preserves the moments that define us.
Come together. Share a song. Have a dance.
Come together. Share a song. Have a dance.
What songs hold meaning for you? What music takes you back to a person, a place or a moment in your life?
This summer, DJ Devolicious has been travelling through communities across Blackpool, collecting the music that means something to local people – the songs that carry memories, tell stories, bring people together and sometimes help us through difficult times.
Now, as the Good Grief Festival comes to a close, we're bringing those songs together for a special celebration.
Join us for a lighter moment: a chance to dance, sing, laugh and celebrate together. Bring your friends, bring your family and come as you are. This is an evening about connection, community and the power of music to lift us up.
Before the music begins, artist Nathan Parker will lead a spoken word workshop, inviting participants to explore their memories and experiences in their own words. The work created in the workshop will become part of Devolicious's set and be woven into the evening as the celebration unfolds.
Expect meaningful music, unexpected connections, spoken word, singing, dancing and a few surprises along the way.
Because grief is part of life – but so are joy, friendship, music and celebration.
Let's finish the Good Grief Festival together, with the people of Blackpool and the music that matters to us.
Come for the stories. Stay for the songs. Dance into the night.
