About This Event

The Interfaith Reception will occur at The Albert Halls in Bolton on 15 November 2026. This event aims to celebrate diversity and community through shared food and dialogue, marking the closing of Interfaith Week.

Welcoming, peaceful afternoon celebrating the diversity, friendship and togetherness of our faiths— shared over good food and company.

Interfaith Week Closing Reception Celebrating Community, Dialogue and Togetherness

As the Dialogue Society, we are delighted to invite you to a special Interfaith Week Closing Reception, taking place on the final day of Interfaith Week.

Over the years, we have continued to organise events in Greater Manchester that strengthen community cohesion and contribute to a culture of living together in peace. Many of you will be familiar with our Christmas dinners, multi-faith iftar gatherings, community picnics and workshops — occasions where people from different backgrounds and faiths have come together, and where sharing a meal has helped bring us closer with every gathering.

This year, we would be delighted to welcome you to a special afternoon built around connection, dialogue and shared hospitality — bringing neighbours of different faiths and cultures together under one roof, in a spirit of warmth and peace.

Everyone is welcome here — whatever you believe, and whoever you are, there's a warm seat waiting for you at our table.

🟢 WHAT TO EXPECT

A varied spread of canapé-style food and refreshments

Inspiring and distinguished speakers

Art demonstrations — marbling, henna, calligraphy and more

Music and live performances

Multi-faith prayers for peace

Warm conversation, genuine connection and meaningful dialogue

A welcoming, peaceful afternoon celebrating the diversity, friendship and togetherness of our community — shared over good food and good company.

It would be a great honour to have you join us and share in this special occasion.
