Gifts to give, bottles to keep. Taste your way through a line-up of cracking festive wines and sort your last-minute presents!

Christmas is coming. Are you ready?

Presents to buy. Relatives to feed. Neighbours who’ll definitely “pop in for a quick one”. If your festive to-do list is looking a little scary, this is the tasting for you.

Join us at WBW for a fun, festive evening where we pour a hand picked selection of wines that do double duty: brilliant stocking fillers and last minute gifts for the people on your list, and reliable crowd-pleasers to have on hand for the Christmas period, so you can welcome whoever turns up at your door with a smile and a glass in their hand.

What’s on the menu?

We’ll guide you through a line-up of bottles chosen because they’re delicious, look lovely and won’t send you broke:

The sparkly showstopper: for the friend who always brings the fizz, and for the moment the doorbell rings

The easy-drinking crowd-pleaser: for the colleague, the neighbour, the secret Santa, and for the big family gathering

The one for the “serious” wine lover: a little treat that says “I really thought about this”

The cosy winter warmer: for cold evenings, roast dinners and sofa time.

Who’s it for?

Last-minute shoppers, serial procrastinators, “I-have-no-idea-what-to-get-my-dad” strugglers, Christmas hosts who want a well-stocked home, and anyone who simply fancies a festive glass of something lovely. Come on your own, bring a friend or make it a pre-Christmas catch-up with your favourite people!
