Free to Be: Women Together in Ringwood is scheduled for 14 November 2026 at The Church of St Peter & St Paul in Ringwood. The community gathering offers entry from Free to £10.00 and focuses on women letting go of what holds them back.
A day for women across Ringwood. Letting go of what holds us back, stepping into the life God has for us.
Women Together in Ringwood is a day for women from across the town and the villages around it. You do not need to belong to a church, or have any faith at all, to come along. Everyone is welcome.
We all carry things that hold us back. Worry. Past hurts. Other people's expectations. The voice that says not good enough. This year's theme, Free to Be, is about laying some of that down and stepping into the life God has for us.
What the day looks like
Doors open at 9:30am with tea, coffee and pastries, and there is time to sit down and meet people before we start at 10:00am. We will finish at 2:45pm.
Through the day there will be talks from our inspirational guest speaker, live sung worship, creative activities, space to think, and time for conversation and to connect with others. Lunch and refreshments are included in your ticket.
Our guest speaker
Kemi Koleoso spent over 25 years as an NHS nurse, specialising in palliative and end of life care, and lectured in that field. She now leads Jubilee Church London alongside her husband Tope and oversees its women's and children's work, and she still volunteers at her local hospice supporting bereaved families.
Kemi also leads Courage Sisterhood, which runs events for women in the UK and internationally, including an annual conference in London that brings together over a thousand women. Having grown up in difficult circumstances herself, she speaks openly about coming through hard things.
Booking
Tickets are £10 and include lunch and refreshments. If cost is a barrier, choose the Supported Ticket when you book, no explanation needed. If you would like to cover a place for someone else, there is a Pay it forward option.
Come on your own or bring a friend. Plenty of people arrive not knowing anyone and leave with a new connection.
