Chat, doodle, dream big. Grab a fun worksheet, work out what you want from your year, and find your thing at BU. Free and drop-in.

Is your week lectures, coursework, scrolling, repeat? Time for a plot twist.

Hobby Maxing is a relaxed, no-pressure drop-in where you stop for a few minutes and ask: what do I actually want from my time at uni?

No sales pitch. No sign-up sheets. Just good conversation, a few fun questions, and a worksheet to take away.

What will happen?

Chat: Come over and talk with our team. We’ll ask what you enjoy and what you’ve been meaning to get around to.

Reflect: Pick a prompt and spend a few minutes writing your thoughts. Choose from four areas:

Experiences & Adventure: What do I want to experience?

Connections & Community: Who do I want to meet?

Growth & Future Me: Who do I want to become?

Habits & Wellbeing: How do I want to spend my time?

Discover: If something catches your interest, we’ll point you to what’s on offer at BU, from clubs and societies to sport, volunteering and career workshops.
