This Spooky Season, come down to Oxfam Bookshop Poole to receive your very own, personalised Tarot Poety Card from local Poet C W Blackburn

As the nights draw in and Halloween approaches, join us at the Oxfam Bookshop in Poole High Street to receive your very own Tarot Poetry Card from local poet and Tarot aficionado C.W. Blackburn! After hosting theWriting from the Source workshop with us earlier in the year, C.W. is bringing us another very special and unique poetry event, inviting those who are bold enough to draw three cards from his Tarot deck, which he will then compose a short, personalised poem from. Each poem will be written on a Tarot Poetry Card and is yours to take home and keep for a suggested donation of £5 – and if you’re apprehensive about what the cards might say, don’t worry, there’s no fortune-telling here, C.W. is using the cards as an artistic aid to connect with his creativity.

C.W Blackburn is the organiser of local writing group Words for Wellbeing which is run in association with the Bournemouth Writing Festival. He is an experienced writer and poet, who has authored five collections and had his work published in numerous magazines and journals.

If you want to receive your very own affirmatory poem, join us any time between 12.00 and 16.00 on Saturday 24th October for this fun and friendly event – and please consider making a donation to the shop to support Oxfam if you do enjoy it.

Reserve your Card in advance by selecting a free ticket or turn up on the day.
