Get ready to dive into a day full of tasty bites and local eats at the Kingston Food Festival!

A new date for the Purbeck diary…

On Saturday 3 October, the village of Kingston will host its inaugural Kingston Food Festival, bringing together local food, produce, skills and plenty of Purbeck character for an afternoon in one of the area’s most distinctive villages.

From homemade cakes, garden produce and freshly pressed Kingston apple juice to some brilliant local producers, there will be plenty to taste and discover throughout the afternoon.

Visitors can expect demonstrations and tastings from The Salt Pig, Sacha Dorey, The Truffle Huntress, local farming families and more, alongside live music from members of the Ratpack and local lamb cooking over the firepit.

There will also be traditional village games for younger visitors, an express raffle and ‘Tower on the Hour’, with the chance to climb St James’ Church tower and take in spectacular views across Purbeck.

All funds raised will go towards the Kingston village fund, supporting local projects and helping preserve this very special corner of Dorset for generations to come.
