Join us this November as we come together to celebrate ACA Unity Day, reflecting on the ACA Promises. Learn to Expect the Best and Get It - ACA Bournemouth Unity Day Join us for ACA Unity Day 2026 as we explore the promise "Learn to Expect the Best and Get It". A day of fellowship, recovery, connection and hope for Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families. "We will learn to expect the best and get it." Many adult children grew up expecting disappointment, criticism, chaos or unmet needs. Recovery offers us the opportunity to challenge those old beliefs and discover a new way of living, one built on hope, self-worth, healthy relationships and trust in ourselves and others. This special Unity Day will provide a welcoming space to connect with fellow travellers, share experience, strength and hope, and deepen our understanding of what this promise means in our own recovery journeys. Through fellowship, meetings, and shared reflection, we'll explore how recovery helps us move from fear and self-doubt towards optimism, self-acceptance and the possibility of a brighter future. Whether you are new to ACA, attending regularly, or returning after some time away, you will be warmly welcomed. Anyone who identifies as an Adult Child of Alcoholics or Adult Child from a Dysfunctional Family, as well as those interested in learning more about ACA recovery.
