A weekly waterfront takeover celebrating motorbikes of all styles and eras. One of the UK’s premier biking events. Every Tuesday from April to September 5pm - 9pm Celebrating motorbikes of all styles and eras. Meet fellow riders and admire stunning machines. A Poole Quay tradition going on for 35 years. Bike Night takes place every Tuesday night between April and September and sees the “bikers” cruising into town! Poole Quay is closed off to all traffic and is taken over by a stream of shiny, gleaming, (and sometimes noisy!) bikes. Bikers from all over the country come here to show off their beautiful machines, meet up with fellow enthusiasts and compete for “Bike of the night”. The event starts at 5pm and is one of the UK’s premier biking events. Often attracting over 3000 bikers an evening. This event really creates a wonderful atmosphere, the quay glistens away as the evening sun bounces off these sparkling machines with both bikers and spectators mingling and having fun. The local pubs and restaurants offer a great selection of food and drink with many having “bike night” specials and there is often live music. The winner of “Bike of the Night” will receive some bike related goodies. Even if you have never been interested in bikes before this event really is something else and you can’t help but appreciate the time, effort, care and dedication that people put into their bikes and this event.
