Join us for breakfast, practical advice and conversations with local entrepreneurs, business owners and advisors.

Entrepreneurial spirit in Dorset is well and truly alive – and we’re here to help it grow.

Whether you’re thinking about starting a business or are in the early stages of running one, our Business Breakfasts are a chance to step away from doing it alone, meet other local entrepreneurs and tap into practical advice and support.

Over breakfast, you’ll join a friendly room of people who understand the opportunities and challenges that come with starting a business.

You’ll hear from local business owners who have been there themselves, sharing what worked, what didn’t and the lessons they wish they’d known when they were starting out.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, make new connections and find out about the wider support available to help you move your idea or business forward.

What to expect:

Breakfast and informal networking

A panel discussion with local business owners sharing their start up experiences

Practical conversation around common start up challenges

Q&A and the opportunity to ask your own questions

Information about finance, local business networks and further support available

These events form part of a wider programme of business start up support being delivered across the Dorset Council area, with Business Breakfasts and workshops taking place in communities across the county.

Come along, meet other people on the same journey and leave with new ideas, useful connections and a clearer idea of what to do next.
