About This Event

Community Gathering: Nature Journals & Sketching is scheduled for 12 October 2026 at 10:00 at Calm in the Wild CIC in Bradford. It is designed for parent carers and neurodivergent adults to make journals from recycled materials and sketch. Entry is free.

A relaxed outdoor gathering for parent carers and neurodivergent adults. Join us as we make simple nature journals out of recycled materials and use them for some relaxed sketching and doodling in the forest garden.

What to expect

Calm in the Wild Community Gatherings are gentle, welcoming sessions for parent carers and neurodivergent adults. There’s no pressure to talk, no expectation to join in with everything, and no crafting experience needed. Whether you’d like to make something, enjoy a brew, chat with others or simply spend a couple of hours in nature, you’re very welcome.

Tea, coffee and simple snacks are provided.
