About this Event
Join us, on a guided walk, get some fresh air, enjoy nature and make new friends.
Take a 4-mile circular walk along the gorgeous Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Saltaire and through the woodland paths. We will stop halfway at the Fishermans Inn for a rest before heading back to the start point. This is an inclusive walk for people in the LGBTQIA+ community and allies
Please consider using public transport to arrive at Saltaire
Start point is by the trip boat under Victoria Road Bridge (https://w3w.co/twice.dining.mops)
Our walk will start at 12pm
Please wear clothing and footwear suitible for the weather
Some of the woodland tracks are uneaven
Book now
Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
