Make your own set of linocut Christmas cards ready for the festive season!

Festive Christmas Card Making Workshop - Linocut Printmaking

Join me in Haworth for a fun, festive session creating your own hand-printed Christmas cards using linocut!

This in-person workshop is a relaxed introduction to linocut printmaking, where you'll learn how to design, carve and print your own festive lino blocks. Whether you're a complete beginner or have tried linocut before, it's a great chance to experiment with printmaking and create something personal for Christmas.

Festive inspiration images will be provided, but you're very welcome to bring your own ideas or drawings if you already have a design in mind. I would recommend keeping your design relatively simple rather than including lots of intricate detail, particularly if this is your first time carving lino.

You'll be able to use your finished lino blocks to print a set of your own handmade Christmas cards, and you'll take your carved blocks home with you so you can continue printing more cards afterwards.

All materials needed for the workshop will be provided.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. A table will be reserved at Cobbles and Clay cafe for lunch. Own food cannot be consumed in the cafe, however there are plenty of independent food venues to choose from and you are welcome to eat a packed lunch in the studio.
