Learn how to master a seascape theme printmaking artwork. Using tools found at home, this workshop is for beginner printmakers

Explore the art of printmaking through the lens of the sea in this creative, hands-on workshop. Designed for beginners and experienced makers alike, this session introduces participants to three expressive printmaking approaches—linocut, monoprint, and relief printing—with a strong focus on mark-making to capture the energy and texture of a seascape.

You will develop your own seascape composition and learn how to create layered backgrounds or dramatic skies through monoprint techniques. Demonstrations will cover inking methods, pressure control, and how to combine relief and monoprint layers for rich, dynamic prints.

Each participant will produce a series of unique seascape prints, some crisp and graphic, others loose and painterly—while gaining confidence in mixing techniques creatively. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is required.

You'll take away with you a collection of handmade prints, which can be framed as artworks or used to create greeting cards and paper crafts.
