Anthony Nixon will host a workshop on pensions related to APR and BPR caps at the Leonardo Hotel in Brighton on October 13th, starting at 13:30 with free admission or £115 for those who choose to pay.
Anthony is back with another session which will be part talk and part workshop exercises, after a spot of lunch and networking.

Another of Anthony Nixon's hugely popular workshops. Anthony’s session will be part talk and part workshop exercises. He will focus on the latest news on IHT on pensions and the cap on business and agricultural reliefs. The session will cover issues such as:
· Will drafting
· Grossing up and s39A
· The IHT rules for will trusts
· Relevant property trusts and IHT
· Variations to wills and trusts
The talk will start at 2.00 pm following a sandwich lunch and refreshments and a chance to network from 1.30 pm and will end at 5.00pm
Please note this will be at Leonardo Hotel Brighton Station BN1 4DJ.
There are various car parks around, the nearest is Brighton Railway Station Car Park, Stroudley Road, BN1 4DJ (but this can fill up quickly).
You may also wish to try Churchill Square BN1 2RU , Russell Road BN1 2DX, Regency Square BN1 2FG or Brighton Theatre BN1 1US.

Anthony Nixon
Anthony is a consultant with Paris Smith in Southampton and Winchester and has more than 40 years’ experience of acting for clients in succession planning and associated tax issues and has become recognised as one of the country’s leading experts in inheritance tax and in the law and taxation of trusts.
As well as being a solicitor, Anthony is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a former member of the Council of STEP and a current member of STEP’s UK technical committee.
In June 2023 Anthony was shortlisted in STEP’s private client awards, as Trusted Adviser of the Year.
With his former colleague John Bunker, Anthony is general editor of the Law Society’s Inheritance Tax Planning Handbook, and the author of several of its technical chapters.
