Join us for Meetup #17 of the AWS Brighton User Group, where you will get hands-on building AI agents using [Strands](https://strandsagents.com/) \- the open\-source Python framework from AWS for creating agents that can reason\, use tools\, and work together\. Bring your laptop to follow along with the workshop, which takes you on a progressive quest from summoning your first AI agent through to orchestrating multi-agent systems. You will learn how to create and configure agents, equip them with built-in and custom tools, connect to external services via Model Context Protocol (MCP), and build Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns. This workshop is accessible for anyone with basic Python knowledge.
