About This Event

**Bridge Club, Friday, 9th Oct, 3pm, Modelo Lounge, Hove** **All of our Bridge events are free of charge.** **Okay, admittedly, we are not the best bridge players around, and we don't always follow the rules. The type of bridge we play is Kitchen Table Bridge -- the rules are much looser, you don't have to know an encyclopaedia full of rules, and you can talk during the games. We chat while we play. To be honest, the professional bridge players look down their noses at us (maybe deservedly so), but we have a funner time playing then they do.** **You don't have to know how to play bridge as we teach. :) I have taught 27 people how to play bridge. It is easy to learn and you are up and playing within the hours. Bridge is a great game!** **For those of you whom are beginners or just learning to play Bridge, it is really important to start here in our group. The other Bridge Clubs, whom teach Bridge, just start at too high a level, and Youtube videos are, also, at too high a level. Here, in our group, we take you through the basics and you are actually playing within the first hour. Later on, when you know how to play, then take the professional Bridge lessons elsewhere to hone your skills.** **We have about seven (7) people coming now to bridge, and you are invited. Come spend a lovely afternoon with us for snacks and drinks, companionship and Bridge. We play in a very nice restaurant, Modelo, part of The Lounges Group, and they always have very good food, hot drinks, cold drinks, wine, beer and other alcohols, if you wish.** **Where:** **Modelo Lounge** **145 Church Rd, Hove, GB BN3 2AE** **It is located on Church Road in Hove near George Street, Hove.** **Parking:** **Park in the Tesco Superstore parking lot. Tesco allows a two hour parking.** **How to find us:** **Ask for 'Lynne's' group or just look for the people with playing cards and chatting too loudly -- that's us! :)** **It is easy to get lost or not find our group, phone me or text me on 075 425 548 71. ---
