A fun 2 hours of clay creativity - squishing, squashing and stamping clay to make an underwater scene with ceramic artist Kate McMinnies.
A fun 2 hours of clay creativity - squishing, squashing and stamping clay to make an underwater scene and brilliantly bizzare clay sea monsters! This is the perfectly spooky family workshop for Halloween, with a marine twist.
Off the coast of Brighton, the quirky, pitted world of the chalk reef is bursting with texture. In this hands-on family workshop everyone will pinch, roll and shape their own sea creature and create a reef tile which will be part of a shared reef scene.
A fun session for families, ages 5+. All materials, tools and guidance included - you take your creatures and ‘reef tile’ home to air-dry.
The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to Brighton's chalk reef, the Southwick reef and some of the creatures that live there.
This will be a playful, texture-led session; no experience needed.
Each ticket includes a donation to Sussex Bay.
