Fundraiser featuring artists working at charities in the Community Base building.

There are a lot of talented folks working at Community Base. Like the drummer from minty fresh ethereal rockers Toothpaste, whose choice of attire has many admirers across the building. Or the lead singer of Land of the Dead, an ominously named band with a love of legendary Russian film directors.

Not to mention the stripped back sounds of Dough Knuckles, a kind of grunge infused One Day As A Lion, and SAM, a one-man song machine that has graced the stage at Glastonbury.

Alongside the bands, we've got Asbest The Moor King and Cut La Vis going back to back on the one-and-twos. The building is truly blessed!

This gig comes off the back of a mix-tape we made here at Community Base in the early summer. A sort of playful way to help us learn a little more about some of the folks we work alongside everyday.

All money raised from ticket sales will go to Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's winter foodbank appeal. The Food Partnership are also based in Comm Base, so it's a lush little celebration and you're all invited!
