💙 Feelings Club – Our First Gathering This will be the first Feelings Club event that I'll be hosting, so we're going to see how it goes and let the evening develop naturally! We'll start at 7 pm by gathering together as a group and taking turns to share, if we'd like to. We'll pass an object around the group to give everyone the opportunity to speak, without anyone feeling pressured to do so. You're also more than welcome to simply listen. As we share our experiences, we'll have the opportunity to offer input, suggestions, and support to one another. Sometimes, that might mean sharing different ways of coping with difficult feelings, while other times, it might simply mean listening and helping someone feel heard and understood. We'll also explore the different ways we can support each other, remembering that we don't always need to find a solution to someone's problems. Sometimes, just being there and listening is enough. The idea is to create a relaxed, non-judgmental space where everyone feels welcome, included, and free to be themselves. We'll begin with our group discussion at 7 pm, and hopefully, as the evening progresses, things will naturally develop into more of a social gathering where we can chat, get to know each other, and enjoy one another's company.
